With a career that’s included stints as a stylist, photographer, filmmaker, and V.I.P. party player, what’s a man-about-town to do for an encore? If you’re Marcelo Burlon, the answer is to release a buzz-worthy t-shirt line, of course. The Italian native and self-described “cultural wanderer, jack of many trades, and all-around mover ‘n shaker” has all the cool kids salivating over his debut collection of eye-catching tees, entitled “County of Milan,” featuring stunning images by graphic designer Giorgio Di Salvo. Offered in black and white editions, the unisex line draws iconographic elements from different cultures—Mapuches crosses from Patagonia, Argentinean birds feathers, esoteric symbols, nods to rave and club culture, plus Brazilian model muse Lea T as an icon of reinvention—to create its very own symbology. Look for them in the coming months at select retailers worldwide, including Lane CrawfordUnion, and SOTO.
