Canadian artist Kevin Cyr shows off a selection of not-so-hot wheels in his latest solo exhibition, In Praise of Rust, now showing at NYC’s Jonathan LeVine GalleryFeaturing detailed paintings of old vehicles seen on the streets of New York—primarily vans and commercial delivery trucks—covered in graffiti, rust, scratches, scuffs, dents, and other marks of distinction, the show evokes memories of the tagged-up and bombed-out subway cars of the 70s and 80s. Be sure to catch it before it hits the road on June 16. Jonathan LeVine Gallery, 529 West 20th Street, 9th floor, New York, NY 10011Map.
